Thanks so much for taking time to
learn about Sunni Patch Pet Sitting. Doing a job that is so fun and
rewarding is great!
Growing up my parents always taught love and respect for animals and
to always treat them with
kindness. We always had at least one dog
and cat in our home. As I grew my love for animals did too...As well
as my love for a lot of different kinds of animals. Over the years I
have had everything from mice and hamsters to ferrets, iguanas, fish
, hermit crabs, and even a skunk!
As an adult I found great joy in fostering puppies and seeing them
go to great homes. I also started pet sitting around this same time.
It became one of my two great passions. The other being Newfoundland
Dogs. I purchased my first one in 1999. Her name was "Sunni".
She
was truly an incredible dog and a wonderful friend and companion.
Over the next couple of years I met my husband. It was so refreshing
and exciting to meet someone who not only respected my love for
animals but grew to share the same passions that I did.
Sadly we lost our beloved Newfoundland, Sunni in early 2005. She is
missed everyday. When thinking of a name for our business we could
think of nothing more fitting that a loving tribute to our "Sunni".
With that Sunni Patch Pet Sitting was born.
We
are happy to share our home now with our Newfie Louie, our
Chihuahua, Joey and our Pug, Stanley. Louie is our protector. He
takes everything about his yard and family very seriously, but he is
also very playful and silly and always quick to give a kiss and
share a little drool. Joey, our Chihuahua is very dignified and
thinks that even though he is only 4 lbs that he is the boss of
everyone. Stanley is sweet and goofy and can always give us a
good laugh with his silliness. We can't imagine our home
without them.
Thanks so much for taking the time to get to know us at Sunni Patch
Pet Sitting. We hope to get to know you and your pets as well.
